I have been very impressed with the class teachers and staff at Barnsole. They are quick to provide support and information when it is needed. They treat the children as valuable individuals who each have different things to contribute.

Admissions Appeals Timetable for Admissions in September 2024/25

If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2024, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Tuesday 16th April 2024).

You needed to submit your appeal before Tuesday 14 May 2024 for it to be considered by Monday 10th June 2024.  Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.

For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education

Please be advised that each parent who lodges an appeal will have a personalised defence statement forwarded to them as part of their case papers.

If you wish to lodge an appeal, more information can be found on their website via Medway Appeals.

FAQs for Primary School Appeals

For 3 year old children in the Gillingham area, we have created a highly supportive nursery environment which encourages your child to play and have fun, developing a love of learning under the guidance of a qualified teacher.

We offer both 30 hour full time places (8:40am - 3:20pm) and 15 hour places Monday to Friday. These can be taken as 5 morning sessions from 8:40am to 11:40am, or 5 afternoon sessions from 12:20pm to 3:20pm.
