Barnsole Food Bank

The Barnsole Food Bank has been created to support members of our school community who may be finding things a little difficult financially. We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly, and sometimes families just need a little extra help. Our school community looks after one another, and this is simply one way we can offer support when it is needed.

This service is available to all families in our school community, regardless of whether you receive benefits or not. Some families may need support once, while others may need help more than once – there is no judgement and no obligation.

The food bank will provide food items, as well as hygiene products, such as toiletries.

Alternatively, you can speak confidentially with Michelle Kagan, Mel Melvin or Frankie Hopwood, who will be coordinating the service. All conversations will be handled sensitively, confidentially and discreetly, and our aim is to make sure that anyone who needs support can access it comfortably and without embarrassment. If you feel financially stretched at any point and need some support with food shopping or essential items, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
