OUR NURSERY

Our nursery offers a variety of experiences to support your child's learning and development. As a school nursery we adapt a diverse curriculum and provide a variety of approaches based on teacher led learning and child centred play. All of our activities guide your child through the key areas of learning - physical development; communication skills; understanding of the world; creative, personal, social and emotional development; maths; and literacy. We have a variety of experienced staff who are qualified teachers specialising in Early Years Development and additional teaching assistants who ensure a balance of educational activities, as well as enjoyment of learning through play.

If you are looking for a nurturing, inspiring nursery where your child can thrive, we warmly encourage you to apply for a place at Barnsole School.

Our experienced staff, who are specialists in Early Years, are looking forward to your call. If you have any further questions about the content of the Nursery curriculum please contact Mr Peter Elliott, Nursery class teacher, or Miss Pam Bird, who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

We offer both full time places (8:40am - 3:20pm) and part-time 15 hour places Monday to Friday - these can be taken as 5 morning sessions from 8:40am to 11:40am, or 5 afternoon sessions from 12:20pm to 3:20pm. We also offer 30 hour places (8:40am to 2:40pm per day) - more information available on request.

If your child has turned 3 and you have not claimed any 3 year-old funding from another placement, please contact us and we can arrange a starting date asap.
