Quality of Education

To provide a deliberately sequenced, language-rich curriculum from Reception through key stage 1, prioritising children’s communication, vocabulary, phonics, handwriting, spelling and early mathematics so that essential knowledge and skills become secure and fluent.

To develop and implement an enquiry-based approach to the teaching and learning of History and Geography that strengthens pupils' curiosity, confidence and oracy through high-quality questioning, discussion and investigation.

To enhance teaching and learning through the consistent implementation of floor books and brainboxes to strengthen pupil knowledge retention, evidence progression in learning and support meaningful enquiry across History and Geography.

Assessment
- To develop a consistent, accurate and purposeful approach to the assessment of writing to ensure assessment informs high-quality teaching, supports pupil progress and enables reliable judgements across the school.

SEN & Inclusion
- To develop and embed consistent, evidence-informed class-based adaptations and targeted interventions to improve access, engagement and outcomes for all pupils, particularly those with SEND.
- To enhance staff knowledge, confidence and expertise in inclusive practice, EAL and SEND through high-quality professional development, coaching and collaborative learning.

- Continue to embed Mindflick as structure to high-quality coaching opportunities
- Use evidence-informed practice, data analysis, and collaborative improvement cycles to evaluate the impact of their leadership on teaching quality, staff development, and pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Leadership pathways outlined with targeted development opportunities, and equitable access to leadership experiences aligned with professional standards.
- Build teams that are cohesive and purposeful in driving specific areas of the curriculum (Phonics, Strong Foundations, Maths)
